A five thousand year old companion tradition to Yoga, Ayurveda is a comprehensive and holistic approach to healing and wellness. Ayurveda considers human beings as part of nature and its natural cycles. Myra’s approach to health is through restoring the natural harmony and balance of body, mind, and spirit. She emphasizes preventing illness, long joyful living and self responsibility.

Through Yoga and Ayurveda, Myra obtained complete healing from life-threatening diseases and has since assisted many people in moving away from destructive habits to fulfilled and vital living. Myra has a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Study in Ayurveda, through the Practitioner Training Program with Dr. Sunil Joshi at Vinayak Ayurveda Chikitsalaya, Nagpur, India.

Individual consultations may be held in person with Myra, at your home, or by telephone. If by telephone, sessions can be recorded and provided to you as an mp3 download. The session includes

guidance in determining your dosha, understanding your current imbalances, and how to bring yourself back toward a state of balance and harmony. She will work with you from your starting point, providing a nourishing environment to learn to value your own experience over outside sources.

Specific wellness practices in nutrition, cooking, self care and lifestyle are available, as well as organically grown herbal supplements, restorative treatments, and aromatherapy.

Ayurvedic herbs help restore you to a place of healthy balance. The organically grown and processed herbs Myra uses are gentle but powerful since they do not act against the body (manipulate its natural processes or mask indications of imbalance) they work with it and support natural function. Myra blends a custom formula for you, based on your needs at the time.
